Summery Weekends Continue

I feel like I’m finally taking full advantage of summer now that I’m farmer’s marketing every week. It’s been a great opportunity to enjoy the weather, the local farmer scene and have some quality time with Avery. This week my sister joined us and we spent literally all day buying food. The farmers market was awesome as always.

Sweet potatoes, onions, apples, heirloom tomatoes, peaches and apples this week. All local! The peaches were melt.in.your.mouth.

Then we went to PeachWave again, like last Saturday, and got our froyo fix! This time I got half peach, half coconut flavors along with a myriad of toppings including the mango blob things.

It was so friggin delicious! I love that place. I swear the peach tasted like fresh peaches and like the peaches I bought it was melt.in.your.mouth….but then again, what frozen treat doesn’t? hehe

Oh, and remind me never to go to Trader Joes on a Saturday again….it was one big shopping cart traffic jam of a million overly polite and eco-friendly customers, myself included.

Shane is taking vacation days this week after crazy work and school the past couple weeks and we have just been chilling chilling and grilling together. Starting the weekend off with a martini called lemon pie didn’t hurt.

We got up this morning, went to breakfast, picked up some grilling goods and headed outdoors on this PERFECT weather day. Avery played on Shane’s scooter.

Then he booty danced.

Up in here, up in here.

This week has only just begun and it’s already been the best in a while. Did I mention I still got the laundry folded and put away? Yeah, I’m blissfully drunk on my productivity.

To top it off, the Royals are killing Detroit. My little world is at peace.

Question: What do you do to chill out?
