Oh no, that doesn’t mean that I made pregnancy-weird-combo-sandwiches, it just means that my sandwiches were about to have lettuce babies.
That is possibly the strangest sentence I have ever written. You’ll have to forgive me, I have a POUNDING pregnancy headache and can’t properly think.
The problem with getting a pregnancy headache in the evening is that I can’t use my tried and true cure method because my method is to take a long walk, drink caffeine and walk some more which is impossible for me to do right now. I am scared I will have this headache tomorrow and have to bundle Avery and I up like crazy to go out and walk in the FREEZING weather. It snowed today, and was 19 degrees F (-14 or something C….for all you Canadians, aka Morgan) when I got up but tonight it’s supposed to get even colder.
So without further adieu here is my lunch.
Lettuce, onions, pickles, cheddar cheese, cucumbers, mustard and cream cheese on toasted bread. I put as much lettuce as would balance. It was amazing.
Among other things I ate, there was another sandwich involved at about 7pm……after my previous dinner.
Yes, this was my second dinner. A sandwich with cream cheese, pepperoni, pickled jalapenos and lettuce on a toasted bagel. Best.sandwich.ever. You should seriously try it. It’s the jalapenos and cream cheese that really make it what it is.
Again, stacking that lettuce as high as it would go. I think I mentioned this before, my biggest pregnancy need is lettuce. I can easily eat two or three Romaine hearts in a day and don’t even get me started on carrots……
Now I must leave you before my brain-in-pain makes me type more nonsense. Fairly certain if I take Tylenol at four something in the morning this headache will be gone by the time I actually get up. No guarantees but I am hoping this is the case because otherwise I’ll have to fight my other demon, which is the frigid weather with potentially high winds (my actual only true phobia is strong wind).
Oh dear, I really do need to stop, too much silliness coming from my fingers.
Good night all, I am certain my next post will make more sense. Sleep tight.

I just received a KitchenAid mixer as a graduation present and the first thing I want to make is some sandwich bread (white, wheat, as long as I can put some stuff in between the bread, I’m happy)! Do you have a favorite recipe for bread that you’ve used?
