Is It A Different Day?

Last night was WORSE than the night before if you can believe it! This time I made a point of thinking about what I needed to do for night feedings and guess what, I did it right. Eli was just uncooperative.

I was frustrated and tired beyond belief this morning and then at about 8am he had a MASSIVE blowout and fell sound asleep. Sooooo, constipation? I am wondering if I need to change anything in my diet to help since he also struggles with gas a little at night. I think perhaps I’m not a very diligent at burping him after each feeding but maybe some small change in diet would help. Honestly though. Eli is much less gassy than Avery was and I barely consume any dairy so it can’t be that. The thing that bothered Avery was cabbage, broccoli, carrots, etc but I haven’t had any of that either since Eli was born except perhaps some carrots here and there like on my salad yesterday. So minimal in the past three weeks though, that I can’t imagine it causing problems.

Anyway, I’m going to have the outlook that each night is a new night and I WILL get sleep. So tonight I WILL get sleep:) I’ll burp him like it’s my job, get us into the livingroom for every feeding and take advantage of every wink I can get.

I can’t really tell the difference between today and yesterday because they are separated by only two hours of sleep.

Eli slept all morning and sleepy nursed all afternoon and I loved every sleepy moment of it. Avery alternated between snuggling with us and playing with his toys. We had a playdate over lunch so we were all kind of worn out by then.

I am blaming the nearly three solid hours of nursing for the cookies I ate.

I painted our metal spiral stair railing today.

I have no photos because I’m not on top of things.

I am too tired to think or write anymore.

Good night! I hope;)

Wow don’t remind me of those days! I hope you get enough sleep again tonight.

I do worry about the lack of sleep heading my way in 12 weeks… I’m not very good at functioning while tired and I’m a terrible napper. I hope I can pull it together!
