Alrighty, first of all I have an announcement. If you haven’t already guessed it I’M PREGNANT!!!!!!
So I apologize for my shoddy posting about food but I’ve been rather sick for the past six weeks. Shane and I decided to keep things a bit of a secret until I finished my first trimester so now that we’re safely through that we’re making it public. So, we took pics when we found out (about six weeks along) and then took them today since this past week my belly has been protruding a bit:)
I’ve been very sick so I’ve lost weight so far but you wouldn’t know if you look at my stomach! Here’s my ‘before’ picture.
Notice my rather frazzled sick-ish look. This was my first day of being really sick and it definitely shows.
Now, here is my picture from today. More used to being sick and totally freaked out that my belly is sticking out like crazy.
I thought I was turning the same direction as that last picture but I wasn’t. Look at that belly! I must have lost all my weight in my legs or something. haha. This is sad because when he was taking the pic I was sucking it in……yeah, I can’t tell I was either. That’s my baby!
On to other things. This morning I woke up feeling HORRIBLE! I had a terrible headache and nausea so I started things out with a bowl of warm oatmeal and raisins.
It was very soothing especially since the weather out there has been raining and cold. It wasn’t snowing yet but you could really tell it was going to.
Then I headed off to meet with the community garden girls to get our seeds started!
Here we are getting things going. We started things like peppers, herbs, tomatoes and flowers. Each of us are splitting the trays between us to give the plants 3 chances to survive.
We have alot more seeds that we know what to do with! It’s great because we’re alot more organized this year and I really think things are going to go really smoothly.
We did alot and are so excited for this year in gardening. I myself start my own sprouts tomorrow!

I am pregnant too (currently 22 weeks) and I can’t wait to read about your progress! I bet you were fed up with the sickness you were feeling in the 1st trimester. I felt quite sick as well during mine, but I feel great now – probably the best so far!! The 2nd trimester is great
