I’ve been trying really hard to eat alot lately but have been having more trouble than I ever thought I would with food. Firstly, I get nauseous when I eat so I have to prepare myself for that. Today I went to lunch with a co-worker and we went to Mr. Goodcents (my work is in the middle of nowhere so we don’t have many options) and I got a veggie footlong then tried to eat myself silly. I managed to eat my whole sandwich and some chips. All in all it came up to 800 calories! However, I haven’t gotten hungry and it’s seven thirty…….I need alot more than 800 calories in a day. So I forced myself to have about a third of a cup of cooked rice and some cranberry sauce.
My brother came over and I made him and Shane steak along with the rice and cranberry sauce. For the rice I just put brown rice with salt, garlic and about a half cup extra water to cook for forty minutes. Brown rice takes longer but is definitely fluffy when cooked right. I added some extra seasoning after it was cooked. Tasty!
I made the cranberry sauce with cranberries, water and maple syrup. I use Grade B maple syrup because it is so much more flavorful and has more minerals. It was a real hit with the brother, he polished off the rest of the pan!
Sorry for the blurry pic! It totally didn’t look blurry when I took it. haha. I wanted to show the brand I use of syrup. It’s 365 from Whole Foods. $15.99 per jug which is a pretty good deal considering how expensive syrup is.
I’ve got a big caloric deficit to make up sometime as I’ve only had around 1000 calories all day. I’m thinking maybe a smoothie? I don’t know. I’m not hungry but we’ll see.

Hmmm, I wish I had this appetite loss problem. What do you do if your primary waking thought is “I want food?” Last night I went to the only real mexican restaurant in Paris. It was the third time. It was amazing and it wasn’t enough. Mmmmm, burritos, chalupas. I love.
