Running Log

Monday 5-24-2010 we haven’t been able to run due to crazy storms so this was our first in two weeks! we ran 3 miles in thirty minutes with 98.8° weather! It was hard! Really good though.

Sunday 5-9-2010 Mother’s Day 5K! We whipped it out. Naturally I ran it barefoot and at six months pregnant it probably wasn’t my best time but I rang in around 30 min for 3.1 miles. My timer didn’t exactly work which was lame! I couldn’t put it on my shoe since I didn’t have a show and I guess being on the jacket wasn’t optimum.

Saturday 5-1-2010 We ran the 5K track to give it a test run. Hilly but awesome. 3.1 miles

Thursday 4-29-2010 we’re pretty much forced to stick to one track now since I HAVE to have a bathroom break during runs. Another 3.5 miles.

Wednesday 4-28-2010 Another 3 mile run with cool down…probably another 1/2 mile. Nothing intense.

Monday 4-26-2010 3.0 mile run with a friend. Faster and felt great. Could have done many more miles:)

Friday 4-23-2010 3.5 REALLY hard run on a hillier trail. Very difficult and hurt my ankle.

Wednesday 4-21-10 Did a faster 3.0 with running buddy. Much better than Monday.

Monday 4-19-10 3.o at the track with Shane and my running buddy. Uneventful and a little too easy for me.

Week total 15.1 miles

Saturday 4-10-10 3.0 with some friends. Good times.

Friday 4-9-10 ran with Shane 3.0.

Thursday 4-8-10 Another 3.0 mile run with a friend. I could have gone alot farther as it was a beautiful day but time was of the essence and we had to leave.

Wednesday 4-7-10 3.0 miles on a track. It was freezing cold and windy and by the end had started raining. I definitely didn’t feel like going farther.

Monday 4-5-10 4.1 miles in about 40 minutes along Blue Ridge Blvd. It was hot and windy and I didn’t bring water so it felt a big rough but afterwards it was amazing.

Week of 3-29-10 Total miles run 9.41

Thursday 4-1-10 3.41 mile run with some walking. We used a different track that had some incline and it was bit harder. I was also running with a friend who isn’t quite up to running a full three. It felt good still though.

Wednesday 3-31-10 3 mile run fully!  Surprised that this long of not running plus being four and a half months pregnant actually worked out to  be so good!

Monday 3-29-10 2.5 mile run with a half mile walk. First run since finding out I’m pregnant and it was amazing!

Week of 12-28 So far total Running 10 miles

Monday 12-28 3.5 mile run on full incline. It made me sweat and I listened to B’day by Beyonce. I didn’t feel motivated at all.

Wednesday 12-30 ran 5.5 miles using whatever I could to make it fun with different speeds and inclines so I wouldn’t be bored on the treadmill!

Thursday 12-31 ran a mile before realizing my hip was not feeling right:( I’m gonna rest it for a bit and try again next week.

Week of 12-14 So far total Running @ 22.2

Tuesday 12-15 Six mile run! It was hard but I mentally just pushed through….I think it took 58 minutes.

Wednesday 12-16 3.5 mile run. Sort of hit the boredom wall and conned out. I was disappointed with myself after this!

Thursday 12-17 rocked a 6.5 mile run! It was not a challenge except for the last mile….I listened to Beyonce B’day and Deltron 3030 got me through that last rough one.

Friday 12-18 Got a quick 2.2 miles in before heading out! Gnarls Barkley helped me through it!

Saturday 12-19 I got home after ‘Christmas’ and needed another two miles to make my weekly goal.

Sunday 12-20 2.0 Got some news about more travel woes from my sister early in the morning and needed to take a short run before I did anything just to relieve my worry.

Week of 12-7 Total Running 17.5

Monday 12-07 Six mile run!!!! An easy one! 56 minutes and then a cool down walk. Twenty minutes weights and pilates. All Beyonce on this one. She’s great to work out to.

Tuesday 12-08 Four miles…didn’t check the time but I’m guessing around 36 minutes with a cool down Deltron 0 and Outkast kept me going. Ten minutes weights.

Wednesday 12-09 3.5 miles….then the asthma attack. Argh!  Gnarls Barkley on the mp3 player

Thursday 12-10 2.0 miles in 18 minutes. I did intervals and incline to make it more of a sweaty workout since I only had time for a short run. Listened to Beyonce B’day!

Sunday 12-13 2.0 miles. I tried to do more but I was a sick girl! Listened to Deltron 3030.

Week of 11-30 Total Running 20

Thursday 12-03 5 mile run!!! Making my weeks total 20 miles

Wednesday 12-02 -5 mile run in 48mins with some incline and the last mile in intervals with 15 minutes of yoga/pilates stretching to loosen up afterwards

Tuesday 12-01-6 mile run  in 55:22min without much variation in pace except for a sprint after mile marker 3.

Monday 11-30 15 min weights,curles, lunges, squats, 4 mile run(1/2 mile walk) 48 min
